What happens when you click

The server says 402
payhole.org/api/demo/article answers with status 402 and a PAYMENT-REQUIRED header: 0.01 USDG on Robinhood Chain to the payhole.org creator wallet.

The extension signs
PayHole checks the price against your cap for payhole.org, then signs a USDG transfer authorization from this site's own address. Nothing leaves your seed.

A facilitator settles
The page sends the request again with the signature. The server hands it to a public facilitator, which puts the transfer on chain.

The article loads
The server answers 200 with the article and a PAYMENT-RESPONSE header carrying the transaction hash. Every load pays again.
